Misunderstood

Honey For The Heart - 1

“Do you ever feel so crushed inside when someone you love misunderstands you?” Pooh asked quietly, though he wasn’t really seeking an answer. He didn’t name names — it didn’t matter.

The weight of that unspoken hurt pressed heavy behind his eyes, like clouds swollen with unshed tears.

Piglet sat beside him quietly, his small voice steady and warm when he finally spoke.

“The worst kind of hurt is when it comes from those who hold your heart most dearly — because their harsh words cut deeper than any stranger’s.
But Winnie… sometimes people speak from the pain they carry inside, not from the love they wish to give. And when two wounded hearts try to speak at once, all that emerges are accusations born from pain.
In those moments, kindness feels so distant, almost beyond reach.
But perhaps next time, when anger rises like a storm, instead of fueling it, simply remain still.
Let the tempest pass.
And then come back — to each other, on softer ground.”

Pooh said nothing.

But somewhere deep inside, something softened.

The issue wasn’t yet settled.

Yet, he found a quiet peace just in being heard and comforted.
